Candle Tips

When is a candle more than a candle?
When you place a Harvest Mason jar candle in a drink holder in your car.  Once the car warms up, so does the wax, releasing a great scent.  A very chic alternative to the cardboard tree hanging from the rear view mirror. (Note: A votive in a votive holder can also be used.)
Planning to do some traveling?
Take a tin candle with you.  Benefits: Bring your favorite scent to create a “homey” feel in your hotel room. No glass, so it’s completely portable. At the end of your trip, leave the lid off the burned candle to create the best smelling luggage in the cargo holder of the plane (or back of the family roadster).
Spice up your drawers!
For a great alternative to a sachet in your dresser drawers, simply place a votive in a votive holder (or wrap in a sheer fabric, pantyhose, or tissue paper) and place in the drawer.  Great scent recommendations would be: Fresh Linen, Rain, Sage Lemongrass, Vanilla Orange, Lavender or Love.
Become a west coast wrapper.
To spruce up the mustiness of a linen closet, wrap a pillar candle in sheer fabric (or a votive in a votive holder on each shelf) and let its scent fill the air.  After a few months, replace with a fresh candle and burn the one from the closet to release the scent.
