In February of 1992, my husband James and I took a beeswax candle making class. We began giving our beeswax candles to all of our friends, family, teachers, bus drivers, and co-workers. Three years later I took a molded candle making class and so we added more varieties of candles as gifts. In order to support my hobby, I began attending craft fairs and consigning candles in local gift stores. So basically, we are a "mom and pop" company with the occasional help of family and friends, when the need arises (it's great because they will work for candles!). We offer soy wax candles, beeswax candles, hurricanes, and candle accessories. All of these are cleaner burning and safer than normal paraffin candles. We offer over 40 scents in coordinating colors (Natural for Hot Buttered Vanilla, Slate Blue for Rain, Bright Green for Honeydew Melon, etc.). Our scent list also includes several Aromatherapy blends.

When I first started selling candles, I tried to make my candles with a 50% or greater ratio of beeswax, but many people were not familiar with the health benefits of beeswax candles and were put off by the price. But now we have a solution free of compromise. We are now very excited to offer candles made from soy based vegetable wax, which burns so clean and pure that you could melt down unscented, uncolored wax to sauté vegetables. It burns cleaner and longer than beeswax, but at a very affordable price. Soybean wax does not smoke or release harmful carcinogens into the atmosphere. This specially formulated wax is environmentally safe and produces 0% petro-carbon soot emissions. You will notice the difference immediately if you burn a jar candle made from this wax, since there will be no black residue left on the glass. Only 100% cotton wicks are used and they are also lead free (paper-core). Our scents and colors are also safer blends; we've tried many types and have found these blends to have the best scents and burning qualities. We know that you'll enjoy burning our candles for their beauty and long burning qualities, but also for their positive effects on the environment and your health.
Many people ask, “So what’s up with the lower case t in “the” and the lower case c in “co.”?” My response is simple: I want to emphasize that my candles are Handmade. Even though I use metal molds and glass containers, no two candles are exactly alike. I like to call candles poured from the same lot of wax, “identical” twins. Only a mother can tell them apart. I want people to feel good when they purchase my products and know that the candles were made with natural, environmentally friendly, and healthy ingredients. Through lots of trial and error, I have developed the most fragrant, cleanest burning, and appealing candles.
Sincerely,
